Watched the movie last night. The movie is a completely let down and big disappointment. I can't believe Aamir did this nonsense. He normally does movies with great scripts but this movie is no where near the kind of movies aamir normally does.

The movie can't be compared to Kahani at all. Kahani is a classic compared to this. Kahani had suspense every single moment and was interesting through out the movie. Talaash is the exact opposite. The first song which plays in the beginning is too long, the scenes are hell long and it could have been shorten so much. At least 20-30 minutes could have been cut off. The whole red district stuff was too much and it got hell boring, that could have been cut.

It had many loopholes too. I wish they focused more on aamir being a police man. He did a fine job, but not his best performance. Rani's role was so small, it was like a special appearance, I liked her but wish she got more layers and wish her role was bigger. Kareena is just eye candy in the movie and too glamorized for the role which she plays.

The ending was W*F, it was like watching an ekta kapoor serial. It became very illogical. When the whole ghost stuff started with the child then it became stupid but when the ghost thing again started with kareena then everyone laughed at the cinema, it became too ridiculous.

The songs also didn't help, worst songs of the year.

The movie could have been okay if it had a better and logical script and if it was shorter and if KK's role were more realistic. The only thing I liked about the movie was aamir-rani and their child's scenes together and also the emotional scenes of aamir and rani together. Aamir looked great with both kareena and rani. He looks the best with these two.

Watched the movie...it was brilliant. It was always supposed to be a suspense drama according to the makers...so if you were expecting a thriller...that is your problem!!!

And I loved the ending..if people can be Duncan in Green mile...people can believe this ending!!!

It was great...movie caters to the simplest of emotions...the "what if" emotion...and also talks about the people who we rarely talk about..or at the lowest strata of the society..how they are human too !!

Aamir, Kareena, Nawaz, Rani were all brilliant...

LOVED the movie, minus the ending. The main twist was a big let down.
Definitely didnt expect such an ending for an AK film. But well, its Bollywood so who cares? 😆 Aamir Khan was the jaan of the movie. His acting was just TOO good. Especially in those emotional scenes, oh God, this guy literally knows how to make one cry!

Rani had a small role, but a very effective one as a matter of fact. She was truly at her best. Her expressions and emotions came out perfectly well. SO opt for this character.

I honestly thought i wont be really looking at Bebo nd her acting coz two biggies like AK nd Rani are there (and i happen to be a fan of them both!) but well, i was wrong. Bebo had her own charm.

On the whole, if you wanna watch a movie with great acting, go for this one. NOBODY will disappoint you. Nawazuddin, and that inspector friend of Shekhawat's, everyone was fab. And as i read in one of the reviews, the twist works for some and doesnt for others. It didnt for me. I was just VERY disappointed with the twist. But the remaining movie was really good so im glad i watched this one 😳

3.5/5 (1.5 is just coz the twist sucked for me)!

Honestly people constantly comparing every movies numbers with SRK's films are pathetic.

I went to watch this today, loved it. Will post my review shortly.
