Siddharth Malhotra replaces John Abraham!

John Abraham is no longer a part Shah Rukh Khan's next production 'Happy New Year', to be directed by Farah Khan. Karan Johar's protege Siddharth Malhotra has now stepped in the role that was orginally offered to John Abraham.

The film has roles for four male heroes and Farah (who bonded with John over their Parsi roots during the shooting of Houseful 2 songs), was keen to have him in the film but John Abraham kept dily-dallying after orginally saying yes. He was even unavailable on phone and when he finally got back to her, he said he wasn't keen to do the role as he only wanted to do solo heroes film. Which is strange because all his hits have been in two hero films ('Dostana', 'Desi Boyz', 'Houseful 2') and most of his hero films have flopped ('Force' being the last).

But John is now producing a film and playing the main lead.

Where are Nadz, Shreya, Ania, and other SRK fans who were discussing HNY's cast?

Looks like our expected cast might end up being right. 😆

Can we do some black magic so SRK will ditch this movie? Since the answer is no, let's see how to stay happy next year... Ok so Boman is there. I'm happy *putting up a straight face*

I didn't realize our prediction would come true, oh Lord. Who else was discussed? I don't remember. I think Paresh Rawal got brought up in the discussion somewhere, but don't remember the rest. 😆 I want SRK to leave HNY. 😔

Nadz, Sid is a better actor than I had expected 😆 I thought he was going to be horrendously bad from the promos, but in the film he was decent enough. He can emote much better than I expected him to . Plus if the film is about bad dancers, then he can fit...he's an awkward dancer 😆

Did we discuss Paresh Rawal too? :O I remember Sid, Boman, SRK...Shreyas/Abhishek...and that other kid who's the son of SRK's friend from before BW. Don't remember the name.

If the actress is Pari, I am 10000000% boycotting this film. The 0.0000000001% chnace of me bothering with this film will fly out the window. If it's Katrina, maybe it won't be so horrendous this time because all she'll be required to do is dance...which is anyday better than asking her to act. 😆
