She's independent (funded by invisible parents), seems to work as a fashion photographer, stays on her own, pays for her upkeep, doesn't sponge off strangers, looks like a super-model, opens her house to the damsel-in-distress (says the one funny sentence in the film – "what's in the house is on the house"), sleeps with Saif, lets him stay at her place also, and is fiercely protective of and loyal to both friend and lover. But what good is all this loyalty, independence and attractiveness? It all gets negated because she is a vessel of many sins - she wears teeny clothes, doesn't cook, isn't religious, isn't house proud, loves her drinks, flirts with men, and loves partying. Shame shame."

I agree it was a BS movie, pretty illogical and worst characterisation of two leads.

The film was STUPID at the very first place. There was nothing extra ordinary in the flick. It was a usual movie with some good songs, thats it.

It was a short version of daily megasoap with all Insecurity, Betrayal, nonsense sacrifice drama and all..

It was a waste of time and money for me 😡

when we have a movie which depicts how a certain part of indians live abroad (i said some not all and yes my cousins even live and party like dpad does in that movie) then we have a problem- when they show them all full of morals we have a problem that they are being unrealistic! we need to make up our minds!

cocktail was fine!

i personally don't want to be given a lecture on morals or shown whats right/wrong according to a certain mindset. I like movies like these- they give a feeling of being liberated! i would love to live like veronica- fearless and gutsy!

i liked the movie...to be honest the only thing i didnt get about it was why the guy fell for meera. personally i loved deepika in the movie in terms of her character n her acting.

Cocktail was by no means vulgar. Most of the films today harbor such scenes. Deepika was amazing as Veronica! I liked the film.

deepika was amazing, her best performance till date songs were gud saif was very annoying especially his OTT dialouges and diana needs to improve a lot
