Katrina upset with 'stiff and plastic' remark!

Despite the festive occasion, Katrina Kaif is feeling in the dumps. Although "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" has opened to positive box-office numbers, Kat is not happy with the scathing reviews she has received for her performance in JTHJ.

A source reveals that Kat was extremely upset after reading some leading reviews where she was called a 'barbie doll' and 'stiff and plastic' in the film.

Being her first big film with Shah Rukh Khan, Kat was looking forward to positive response for her role. However, as soon as the reviews started trickling in Kat switched off her phone and went into a shell.

The only person who was by her side was Ranbir Kapoor, who was constantly on the phone encouraging and telling her not to take the words to her heart. Buzz is that Kat finds it unfair that while Anushka was praised, she got the majority of the flack.

i truly found the critics unfair with her 😡i tought she did a great job i love the pairing with shahrukh and they made me believe that they were in love ❤️

i loved the movie and enjoy all 3 of them

I am going to watch it on Friday, but my best friend told me her role required her to be subdued and not really display the Kajol/Sridevi type histrionics, so she camouflaged her lesser acting skills.

Haven't watched it yet but what else could she expect? She's never moved out of her regular roles. And obviously if compared to Anushka who's so young and has actually acted so well in her movies, Katrina would have a tough time shining. She's the perfect Barbie doll. In some way, that could be a compliment.

10+ years in the industry and she is still not used to plastic and stiff?😆.. what will she do when she hears wooden, accessory, pretty face etc? ...

Too bad she doesn't read India forums.

I don't know why she doesn't take it in a positive way! Being called Stiff and plastic is one step better than Wooden Plank.

Most of the reviews for JTHJ were praising her...what is she upset for?? I don't think she has recieved this much praise in 10 years...now just because she acted in a Yash ji's movie...people won't start calling her Madhuri and Sridevi..
