phir start ho gaye.. Jaan chor do srk aur salman ki... in media waloon ke paas koi kaam nehi... mujhe lagta hai, yeh sab media ki ghalti hai, ke salman aur srk ke fans fight karte hain...

I don't understand why SRK would need to beat Salman anyway...doesn't matter how much JTHJ makes...I only care about the film being good...

ETT should not be a bench mark for any movie. it was a pretty mediocre movie. Just watched it last week.

Whether JTHJ makes more or less doesn't matter! Its the content which matters for us viewers!

Don't know about India, JTHJ will certainly break records overseas! Its still a good week for the release and people are already going crazy for JTHJ in Singapore!

SRK is a HUGE star overseas...much bigger than even Big B, Salman and Aamir combined! He still rules over the NRI crowd (though I have never understood, why exactly!) and people here are just nuts about him!

They will happily watch any film he dishes out!😆

I think overall it will be difficult for JTHJ to break ETT's records...primarily because of the genre! Romantic films have traditionally not been known to garner such huge numbers as action films! And lets face it, Salman has a bigger fan following in India (which ultimately determines a film's overall business) than SRK!

But a lot depends on the film...it doesn't seem to be a typical Yash Chopra film from the promo's...SRK's role looks interesting and Katrina is the lucky mascot! Never know, if JTHJ becomes the biggest grosser of this year!

As the others have mentioned, I am just hoping for JTHJ to be a good film! Who cares about the numbers? (Except Billa, ofcourse!😆 He will surely bring out some godforsaken list of JTHJ's business on the very day of its release!)

It'l for sure, I think Diwali is the best period for Shah & it has always been starting from Baazigar:-93,DDLJ-5,DTPH-97,98-KKHH,2000-Mohabbatein,2004-Veer zaara,Don-2006(was a much bigger hit than jaaneman which released on the same day),2007-OSO

All these films released on diwali n they were major blockbusters in both Indian as well as overseas market! I am not at all being biased becoz it is a SRK movie but a fact is a fact, his movies have been major money churners during the Diwali period:D

Aamir or no Aamir, I doubt Talaash will have any effect on the business of JTHJ! There is practically no buzz on Talaash and even though I understand that Aamir's films have their own charm and set audience, I don't think talaash would make any dent in JTHJ's business! 2 weeks nowadays is a long time to make money! And by the time Talaash releases, JTHJ would have made the majority of its lifetime profit!

A lot also depends on the type of reviews JTHJ gets! Because unlike Salman's films, SRK's films do depend to some extent on critics review and word of mouth!
