Salman Khan's reported underworld links have again cropped up, with English dailyHindustan Times putting up on its website a taped conversation between the popular actor and his former friend Aishwarya Rai being bullied to perform before Abu Salem.
According to the report, Salman abused Aishwarya and threatened to "take care" of her, claiming closeness to underworld dons Dawood Ibrahim, Abu Salem and Guru Satam. The report says the tale began with the movie Chori Chori Chupke Chupke in August 2001. The dirty money that funded the movie was traced by the police.
Soon after, the film's financier Bharat Shah was arrested. It was also the time when Salman and Aishwarya were still in a relationship. Salman allegedly threatened Aishwarya into performing in front of Salem. Ash's refusal enraged Salman and he threatened her that he had "people" who would watch her even in the US, where she was to perform on a 50-day tour. The tapes reveal that an inebriated Salman kept on threatening Ash. "You know I can do it. After all, everybody from Dawood Ibrahim to Guru Satam is a friend," he reportedly told the former Miss World.

Aishwarya Rai: Hello.
Salman Khan: I want you to do the Abu Salem show. Hello?
SK: When I told you to do the Salem show you put the phone down. F**k you. You are doing the Salem show because of me. I asked you to the Salem show. You are not talking to me.
