Anna Hazare, a protester and Social Activist, had planned his new movement, and for this, he apparently wants Aamir Khan to join in it. Hazare plans to launch the agitation in January 2013, and is being said that the final decision over the movement will be taken as Aamir gets back from Haj Pilgrimage.
Just like his movies, actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan had also influenced the society through his popular TV show "Satyamev Jayate". The show boosted public awareness related to social problems and highlighted on various public issues. Probably this had encouraged the 74-year-old fighter to rope in the Bollywood superstar Aamir to universalize the important issues, which he wants to highlight in his upcoming movement.
Aamir had also shared the stage with Hazare during the campaigning for lokpal which was held last year in Delhi. He had also sent a personal letter to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, proposing the Government to act on the demand for a well-built anti-corruption system. However besides corruption, Hazare also focuses on the issues related to farmers and electoral reforms.
