I didn't he'd made such a huge impact and he has...Now to think he's gone it's unbelievable...some of his movies were my childhood films and to not see him anymore. It's horrible.

I grew up on Yashji's cinematic portrayal of emotions when it came to films. Daag, Deewar, Kabhi Kabhi, Veera Zaara, DTPH and the list goes on. He touched hearts with the simplicity and intensity of sentiments. So many new film makers have tried to be like him, the biggest example of that being Karan Johar.

I don't want to say it but i don't think we will ever have a true student and heir to Yash Chopra school of film making.

And JTHJ is not even completed yet, movie is not even released yet everything is so sad right now :(

Yash Chopra will always remain one of my favourite directors. His films were pure yet beautiful.

Yash Chopra is my favorite director.

My most favorite Yash Chopra movies are Lamhe, Kabhie Kabhie and Veer Zaara.

Yes, the power of sentiments that he brought out - nobody has reached that level when you know that everything he is showing is make believe but those people and those emotions that we are seeing on celluloid are real.

aww thanks my dear, this is the movie I have been waiting for since the rumors started some years ago and it's like my little baby I have never been so much excited for a movie, so it really made me upset to see hear this awful news. Yashji deserved to live much more. I hope he is better where he is now.
