When Mashallah came out majority of non-Salman fans (mostly but not all SRK fans) claimed it was a copy and yet it wasn't proved because it was an original song. Also, besides Chinta Ta Ta(which they bought rights for), Sajid Wajid haven't been accused for plagiarism for any other songs.

Well as Pritam, he is always been on limelight for copying music yet his music sells better than A.R Rahman's

Every Salman hater does that to all negative articles based on him. Just swallow your anger and just tend to ignore these stuff like we ignore negativity on Salman. (Oh well I do unless it's on my thread).

Mumbai: There has already been a lot of hullabaloo that Shahrukh Khan starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan poster is copied from 2011 French war adventure Special Forces. The second thing that comes into light is the Challa song from the film, which is stirring quite a buzz around these days.

Apparently, the song is an inspiration from Swedish musician Eagle Eye Cherry's chartbuster number Save Tonight.

Challa is composed by ace music composer A R Rahman, on that note it is difficult to believe that it can be copied. However, the number sounds very similar to the 1997 hit, specially the guitar played in the beginning. Sung by Rabbi Shergill, the only refreshing thing about the musical is singer's voice.

Film Jab Tak Hai Jaan marks veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra's comeback to the industry after eight years. At the same time, the movie is also Chopra's last directorial, so ideally, the flick shouldn't have gained such negative popularity in the very beginning of its promotions. All we can do is just hope that the film's story too does not turn out to be a copy from an old hit.

Apart from Shahrukh, the film stars Katrina Kaif in lead and Anushka Sharma in an extended cameo. The film will hit the theatres on November 13.

AR Rahman IS a decorated music director, for a very valid reason.

Yes, other composers' albums sell like hotcakes aaj kal, great for them, their style completely clicks with what people like, and that can't be taken away from them.

but in terms of quality...

none of them have their tracks in BBC's top 10 tracks of all time, nor the top albums

None of them've got four National Awards

none of them have got academic awards

none of them have been nominated for the Grammys

None of them have 15 Filmfare awards (just in Bollywood FF btw, not even talking about South Indian)

None of them get random showerings of Doctorates

Just saying x]

In any case, I'm a massive fan of AR Rahman, and you aren't, so this entire post can go down the gutter for you for all anyone cares
