Guzairsh was one of the best works of SLB.
But some were not satisfied with its open ending that shows Hrithik laughing followed by the end credits.

I've found the Deleted Ending/Alternate Climax of Guzaarish which was changed in the movie.
Imo the deleted one was much better and satisfactory, Aish at the graveyard with tears in her eyes, Eithen Maskernez' grave with smile written on it, aish smiling with tears watching his grave and loads of Hrithik's supporters burning the torches outside his home at evening was I think the perfect ending, but I guess SLB wanted to make it kinda vague & open ended.

so plz watch this alternate ending of Guzaarish after 2:50 timeslot, and give ur feedback that which ending u preferred... the original one in the movie, or this deleted one.

That deleted climax scene still gives me goosebumps!

If SLB had kept it in the movie, it would have been a happy ending... Ethan finally getting liberated from his body and Sofia also not having to get imprisoned for killing him.

But I guess SLB wanted the alternate ending... the one we see in the movie... after which everyone thinks Sofia would be jailed after killing Ethan. It's a slightly depressing ending...

Although the magic scene between Sofia and Omar was fun.. he could have kept it in the movie to make it more light, in contrast to how dark the film was.

it was not a joke... it was a great movie. Do watch it if u haven't yet. Assuming a movie based upon the "deleted" scenes is not way too wise... I love this film alot

I totally agree with u on the ending... especially the evening time scene in the graveyard, Aish has twinkle of tear in her eye but started smiling watching Hrithik's grave coz he always tell everyone to smile...and the torches' scene outside Hrithik's house at night after his death was mesmerizing.

Don't know why SLB wanted to make it vague... agree it was kinda poetic and open-ended but still was vague and confusing for general public who couldn't digest & grasp it.

Even with that deleted scene the movie sucks big time just like Sawariyaa.
Its not that I don't like offbeat movies but I couldn't get pass interval of this movie. Guzarish is total snooze fest.
