Out of her contemporaries? She came in 2005, and she has got 2 female centric hit movies, 1 national award and 2 best actress popular category filmfare + 1 critics; she has achieved so much without the help of the khans! Would also like to add that she came in the industry only due to her acting credentials; Discuss:

The highest achiever?No.

Yes she has given good performances in TDP and Kahani.But initially she has also had flops like SalamEishq and Kismet connection.To be called the highest achiever she still needs to do more of good work.

I think the fact that TDP and Kahani were released close to each outher and they both were a sucess being a Heroine's movie,she is being overhyped a little.Though I agree both the movies were having good script and great performances but still all this doesnt make her the greatest achiever.

I proudly say she's my fav actor in recent times...
but to get that highest achiever tag...she still has to work on more films...consistently

but she is the only actress to deliver hits on her own merit, she has got a lot of awards including the national then why is it so wrong to call her the highest achiever?

Indeed she is highest achiever among her contemporaries. She has delivered great performance and hits without any big stars. All most all her recent films she was praised for her acting. Ishqiya, Paa, NOKJ, TDP, Khaani, that's very impressive record.

You must give her full credits for her achievement without the khans and filmy connections or being a starkid , she made a name for herself . She might be not be huge star but who cares. She is doing great.

Agree with u niks among her contemporaries Vidya is ahead of all of them .one thing about vidya that make her stand apart she is a phenomenal actress her performance is appreciated irrespective of the Film's fate

P.S. Kismat Konnection wasnt a flop it was average .the only colossal flop she had was halla bol in which she didnt had a great role as far as the report goes and other is Eklavya even there she was a sidey

really i didnt watch the movie .i dont really like AD's movie the only movie that impressed me was OUATIM i read reports that HB revolved around the real life story of ajay played by Ajay himself😆
