Deepika All Set To Pair Up With Emraan

Emraan Hashmi as well as Deepika Padukone are on a career high. With former delivering a superhit in Raaz 3 and latter coming on her own with Cocktail, the two are all set to unite for the co-production of Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor.
"Though there were faint rumours of the two actors pairing up for this yet untitled film, it is now certain that Emraan and Deepika are coming together. In fact their dates have been locked too and the film is all set to go on floors around June next year", informs an insider.
Since this is a highly unconventional pairing, one looks forward to how the duo is accepted by the audience.
"Emraan has been a regular with Ekta Kapoor now after Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, The Dirty Picture and Ek Thi Daayan. On the other hand Deepika is finding herself in good books of Karan Johar after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Now Ekta as well as Karan have made up their mind that there won't be any further rethinking about the leading lady. While Emraan's name has already been declared, announcement around Deepika too would be made very soon", the insider adds.
When contacted, Karan confirmed that the film would go on floors in middle of next year. Though he didn't wish to react to rumours around Deepika's inclusion in the film, he did go on to say, "Today everyone has woken up to the talent that Deepika is. Of what I have seen of 'Yeh Jawaani...' so far, she is fantastic. As for Cocktail, we all saw how she came up with one of her finest performances ever."
While Deepika was unavailable for comment, Emraan said, "The film's story is locked and script is currently being worked upon. As for my leading lady, Karan and Ekta should be the right people to comment."
However our source insists that it is about time that Deepika's name is announced.
