Illeana's role was offered to Katrina.

Pretty obvious it's because of RK. But glad Ileana did the film.

She was offered the role of Ileana. As can be seen the role of Priyanka is much stronger than Ileana, she would have remain just a second fiddle to Priyanka. Katrina knew she would be overshadowed by both Ranbir(who is playing deaf and mute) and Priyanka(who is playing autistic) so she opted out. It was just a smart and calculated decision on her side.

I love Ileana in the promos so much that I can't thank Katrina enough for feeling this way.

well, the critics are raving over not Ileanas but Priyankas role which seems to

hv more meat. One wouldnt expect the number one heroine willingly play second

fiddle to a rival heroine. Kats not a dumbo to walk into a well and drown herself!

Also she has refused not one not two but THREE movies with THE Ranbir Kapoor.

Obviously she isnt desperate.

Kat doesnt shy away from risks, she signed Raajneeti with a whole bunch of

scarily acclaimed actors and emerged a winner. But she is not dumb. Even if

she were to hv been offered PCs role she would hv refused. That role needs someone

who can look like a little girl, Katrina towers over most people. She doesnt hv PCs

petit build.

And it calls for a certain level of acting..Katrina would not at this stage take up such

a role, I think. She is aware of her strengths and limitations. Look at Kareena trying

^totally agree, Katrina did a wise choice. She always makes the best choices when it comes to her movies, she picks her movies very well.

Barfi required intense acting and expressions throughout the movie which is not Katrina's cup of tea. Plus because of her I fell in love with Ileana so thank you Katty for stepping out of the project😃
