The organisers of the
International Film Festival of India are in a fix. While the Goa government has invited Amitabh
Bachchan for inauguration
ceremony, Akshay Kumar, too, has been approached by the
cultural wing of I&B Ministry, reports Mumbai Mirror. Akshay Kumar has already given his nod but the organisers are
hopeful that he might back out considering the present situation.
"Sources from the ministry revealed that they were hoping
that Akshay may just pull out. Were hoping for an early solution
to this impasse. It should not be difficult, considering how much Akshay respects Bachchan Saab. True, but we would not mind the two of them doing the honours
together either," reports the tabloid.
Well, communication gap can certainly lead to such blunders!
