Yesterday we told you how Deepika Padukone is sending feelers to those who matter that she wants to be Salman Khan's girl in Kick. Today, we hear even Anushka Sharma is trying to convince producer-director Sajid Nidiadwala that she is the right choice for the film.
Anushka is doing incredibly well in the industry since her debut opposite Shahrukh Khan in Aditya Chopra's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Apart from a disappointment in the form of Patiala House, Anushka Sharma mostly has decent movies behind her. Furthermore, she is working with Shahrukh again in Yash Chopra's movie, with Aamir Khan in PK and with Imran Khan in Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola'. The only Khan left to be conquered was Salman Khan and guess seeing a window to achieve just that Anushka has made sure to let everyone know she is interested to be Salman's heroine in Kick.
Now if we do a comparative analysis of who has the edge here between Deepika Padukone and Anushka to bag the role, we find Anushka clearly fitting the bill. Why we say so because Deepika is doing a host of movies. From Kochadaiyaan to Chennai Express to Race 2 to Ram Leela, her date diary is almost full. In such a situation, she will have to squeeze in some time for Kick. Whereas Anushka just has three films to take care of and has ample time to fit in one more. Naturally, Sajid would love to have an actress who can be around more often than one who is juggling from one set to another. Well may the most beautiful of them win!
