Back to school with Student Of The YearAlia Bhatt

Photo 14 of 14

This is Karan's first time directing a movie that does not star SRK in the lead. "The film feels different from any other film that I have directed as I have worked with movie stars who don't need hand-holding. With these three newcomers, it was a journey like nurturing and parenting them," said KJo.

Looks like another movie is ready to fall flat on its face...
Only in a BW movie can a girl's uniform have a mini skirt...
The cast is not impressive at all...

^ oh man, no, i went to a uniform high school, and of course our skirts weren't meant to be mini, but all the girls pulled them up, or hemmed/sewed the bottom so they became shorter, etc, so they seemed mini, so I actually find that bit realistic in today's time. 😆 Idk if it happens in India, but it's St. Teresa, and the school looks pretty foreign-washed.

I am not gonna wish the movie to be a flop, because I am sure they all worked hard (being starkids doesn't take away that they probably did try their best), so good luck to them! If the movie has good content, I hope it does well. It's too early to judge atm for me! :D

This is my problem..that people think that in awestern country the kids can wear bikins to school...in my kids school..there are certain rules for dressing and everyone has to adhere to that...if u break it u wear a sack the whole day😆...
In the movie KKKG...whatever Kareena was wearing to school...i haven't seen a single girl dress like that to school..😆

I was watching K3G on cable the other day and realized how vain that movie was. 😆 Especially when Poo enters the campus and disses Robbie. 😆

Ghor Kalyug!

Yeah, but Kareena was in college/university, na? I won't say I have seen people dress like Kareena (no way), but I have seen people dress almost as.. um, inappropriately, as Kareena, I suppose. 😆 College/universities don't have as much restriction, of course, but Kareena's style in K3G is like... too much. That's why I liked how Deepika/Diana dressed in Cocktail - they dressed how normal girls in London or foreign countries dress out on the streets, not other movies where they show most NRI girls always dress inappropriately (*cough* Neal N Nikki *cough*).

OMG...the whole campus part was so stupid...i don't know why these movie makers go overboard and don't think before making such idiotic scenes...u don't park ur car right in the middle of the grounds...it needs to be in the parking lot ...and also boys do not line up for a date at the prom..no matter how beautiful the girl is..how stupid do they think the audience is...and I really hate it when they show the NRI kids like that...because some people might actually think that our kids are like that..

But the school shown in this movie is a High School...not a college...right??
