I've met Aamir Khan during the premier of Taare zameen par in Mumbai. He's a very genuine and down to earth fellow...I shook hands with him and he even signed me an autograph 😃 Didn't get the opportunity of clicking pics though =[

He was interacting with everyone just like any other person which is so not common among these stars...The kid Darsheel Safary was also there. Aamir and him were getting along really well 😆

Met Aamir as a kid, when he was married to Reena. Her father lives a couple of hours away from Toronto and Aamir was staying over for a few days just relaxing, taking a vacation. Played tennis with him and had dinner with him. Extremely down to earth, no starry airs at all.
He's too smart to let fame get to his head. He spent his free time reading books and playing tennis.

We watched the shooting with few of AAmir's scene and it was great. As soon as it was turn for Aamir's body double to shoot, Aamir sat down with Uday and Abhishek for a break. Aamir happened to look where we were standing and we waved at him. RIGHT AWAY, he got up and walked downed the street with his body guard to come shake hands with us through the fence. There were few other people and he took the time to personally shake hands with everyone. We were all so surprised by his gesture that we didn't know what to say to him. hahaha. We got this whole thing on the video!! 😆 During this whole time, Abhishek was just chilling on his chair. People were screaming his name, but he just waved.

Later in the night, even after being sooo tired he came and took pictures with everyone. There were some Aunties pushing us away, so he even requested them that let this girls get pictures first. He was so humble and down to earth. If you guys had seen the way the people in the crowd were acting, you would not want to be anywhere near them.haha. He was so patient and calm with everyone (including the lady who tried to break into his vanity van). He has maintained himself so well. He doesn't look his age at all.

I guess, I should also mention that Uday Chopra was also as nice as Aamir and took pictures with us.

OMG! You met Aamir Khan? *sigh!* That has been my lifelong dream! I've been waiting to meet him for years. God knows when that will happen. 😔

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have heard fantastic stories of Aamir and his interactions with the fans. What an amazing guy! I can't begin to describe the kind of person he is. I'm really happy he doesn't let his fans down, if he was rude and arrogant to them I would have been disappointed. But man! He must be the sweetest guy ever. 😳 I wonder if they are going to shoot Dhoom 3 only in Chicago or other cities as well? I have been patiently waiting all these years to meet him. And reading your experience makes me want to meet him more. 😆

That's pretty shocking to read that about Abhishek. But I have heard of that too. It was during Dostana shooting days in Miami. My friends went to see the shooting (I didn't go being the idiot that I am) and they came back saying how sweet and humble John was and how arrogant and rude Abhishek was. He saw them but it took him hours till he finally went to them, while John came immediately. I thought Abhishek was pretty humble. 😕

Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience! It was a pleasure to read it. 😳

And God willing I will meet Aamir one day. 😆

Thanks a lot for sharing!Its nice to hear you had a good time.Its good that he is cordial and respects his fans.😃I have never been starstruck by any Bollywood celebrity except for Aamir Khan(and Vidya balan).I really want to meet them!Both of them came to a place just 5 minutes from my house and I didn't know.😭I envy you!😒
