@Fire-gun, His name is indeed enough but with so many articles saying "Akshay Kumar not happy with Joker", "Akshay won't promote Joker", "Sonakshi supports Akshay".. what do you think the audience will do? when the cast itself is not happy with the outcome will the fans of those stars really watch it? I have watched almost all his recent movies in the cinema, but I won't even attempt to watch this one in the cinema even if it gets "good" reviews because Akshay must have a reason for not promoting this movie.

And this movie won't affect his career because he has already enough movies in his kitty which will do well and in which his performance will be appreciated.

^ I would disagree with that.

His career has ALWAYS been affected by his flops in the past...

I don't see why there's much of a reason that the opposite will happen this time. IMO, it's not such a colossal thing for his career to be affected.. it happens to everyone.

And his not supporting the movie doesn't really justify that its a flop.. not everyone reads these articles. Not everyone really cares about what the makers (cast and crew) think of the movie.

When an actor does not promote his movie , not at all interested in the movie, then how can audience go and watch the movie bcz of his face value ??? I am Akki fan and not going to watch the movie

it can be called Akki could not pull the crowd Only if he Had promoted the movie and asked the audience to come and watch

this movie is only Shirish's movie and even 10-20% opening he got bcz of Akki

even other producers were not interested in promoting ...then how can u expect audience to go and watch the movie ????

and for same reasons it won't affect his career ...and for me its those kinda movies which keeps on getting delayed and when they get released after long time those does not affect the actor for example Yeh Lamhe Judaai ke ( SRK ) , Hum tumharein hain sanam , Mere Jeevan Saathi ( Akki ) and same kinda more movies

^ why assume that everyone who watches these movies are Akshay fans? Does everyone who watches movies, watch them because of who is in them?

and though Akshay didn't go out of his way to promote this movie, doesn't mean it hasn't been promoted at all.

What can explain those repetitive trailers, I Want Fakth You, Sonakshi's few attempts?

That still counts as promotions.

if SRK's career does not get affected by Flops and his fans can bring his 5-10 years old hits to prove he is still King then why Akki's career will get affected with a movie he is Not even asking his fans to watch ... and if it will get affected u wld get to know in future

Because it's indeed funny Rach how you said "flops do affect Akshay's career".. if they do not affect other super stars careers, then why would they affect Akki's? Every star has its phase and Akshay no matter if his movies flop or not, he'll remain at the top for many years to come. And you're right a lot of people don't go to watch movies for the stars but in this case what other reason do they have to go for this movie? They know it's Shirish's movie so it can't be the story 😆 The only few people who went for it did it to see Akshay or Sonakshi..

I don't think you know, but I supported Akki in the beginning when this movie was introduced to the forum through the trailer.. cuz I felt that he was doing a project unlike the other Khans, which doesn't look like a sure-shot hit, and there's a certain level of risk involved.

I'm just a bit disappointed that it didn't pull through, and thats why I'm thinking that its not fair to exclude AK altogether from this project, just because he's stopped supporting it.

and yesss, I said that in my previous post 😆 that it happens to everyone and to me, it doesn't seem like such a collosal thing to happen.
