So out of 100% films she's done - 47% are hits, 19% are average and 34% are flops. That is, 2/3rd of her films have been successful whereas 1/3rd of them haven't. Not entirely a bad record. Compare to the rest of the actresses in a similar fashion. Other than Katrina, nobody else beats her in this. But again Katrina was never an "actress" to begin with.. all she did is played eyecandy in almost every film of hers, dancing around trees is not all what an actress is supposed to do.

Aishwarya didn't get "lucky" like the other actresses to tag along heroes/Khans one film after another in a slew of hits. She faced challenges that probably no other heroine did (three of the biggest heroes boycotting her and one of them went to the extent of sabotaging her career). YET, she survived.. even if she momentarily saw failure, she stood up on her own legs and made a name for herself again - FROM THE SCRATCH. When people talk about self-made superstars, her name rings the first. Because she was someone who did it twice - became an established name only to be nudged down by a hero in a male dominated industry, after which she did it again by creating a name for herself, and this time internationally too.

How much ever people here might try to pull her down, she just isn't going to give up. She is going to be a superstar even in 2050 and her topics will continue to be among the most discussed ones and of course generating just as much jealousy.

She is the HEROINE with the balls. And the discerning audience recognizes that!

What! These movies were really hit or Average? I never knew when they came and gone.

+100 there! Uday Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor are handled by the same PR. If PR is what it takes to become a star, why aren't they equally big stars? Is Uday paying them less? 😆
