Watched the movie this weekend. LOVED it. Full-on Bollywood entertainer movie this was. Nd i really liked the action scenes, which i mostly hate in BW movies.

Katrina was okay. Salman Khan nailed it once again :D
Loved the Laapata song! Salman-Katrina's couple worked for me this time <3

salman was really good in the romantic scenes; he looked really torn and lost in love

katrina was emoting the sad depressed parts well but she didnt look completely

lovelorn...for me that is...dunno

maybe thats how she is in real life, not too intense a person

Ek Tha Tiger Has Solid Second Weekend

Ek Tha Tiger had a solid second weekend with collections likely to come in at around 19-20 crore nett. Friday was around 4.50 crore nett and Saturday was 6.25 crore nett and Sunday should come in at around 8.50-9 crore nett.

The film has grossed around 163 crore nett after its second weekend which is phenomenal and considering the huge first week, the second weeknd collections are also very good. Only Three Idiots, Dabangg and Rowdy Rathore have collected more in their respective second weekend's. Films like Ready, Housefull 2 and Golmaal 3 all collected in the same range as Ek Tha Tiger but these films were not coming off a huge extended first week.

If we compare with Bodyguard which was releases in the same period last year that film grossed 14.25 crore nett over its second weekend. Ek Tha Tigershould do around 30 crore nett over its second week.

Salman's Ek Tha Tiger scores Rs 175 cr at desi Box Office

Salman Khan latest movie Ek Tha Tiger, which hit the screens on August 15, has topped the Indian Box Office chart in the second weekend too. The Kabir Khan directed action thriller has done an excellent collection, thereby sidelining new release Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi. The film has crossed Rs 175 crore mark in just 12 days.

Many thought that Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi would send down the collection of Ek Tha Tiger in the second weekend, but Salmania, which was still at its peak, gave another chance to the movie to work wonders at the Box Office. Salman-Katrina romantic action movie has added Rs 21 crores to its 12-day total Rs 175 crore nett.

The business of Ek Tha Tiger was very low when compared to its performance at the desi Box Office on Thursday. Its collections improved by more than 40% on Saturday. But the movie witnessed a big jump in its business on Sunday. The breakup of its second weekend collection is Rs 4.50 cr on Fri, Rs 6.30 cr on Sat and Rs 10.20 cr on Sun.

However, Ek Tha Tiger has already become a blockbuster movie of the year beating records of all previous Hindi films. The movie has crossed Rs 200 crore mark at the worldwide Box Office on Saturday. Ek Tha Tiger roaring: Can Joker stop it at Box Office?

Akshay Kumar has already scored double centuries with his previous movies like Housefull 2 and Rowdy Rathore in 2012. The Bollywood actor is coming back with another mass entertainer. Akki's upcoming movie Joker, which slated to hit the screens on August 31, is all set to silence the roaring of Ek Tha Tiger. What are its highlights?

Directed by Shirish Kunder, Joker is a fantasy adventure film, which is being released in 3D across the globe. The aliens created through special effects are going to be one of its major highlights. Secondly, this film brings back the wonderful chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha to screen after the huge success of Rowdy Rathore. Their chemistry will be another attraction of the film.

Although Joker is described as a scientific fiction, director Shirish Kunder has managed to include all mass masala elements like comedy, action, sentimental sequences and good music in the film, which even has a item number 'Kafirana'. Chitrangada Singh has performed the item song, which is going to be another highlight. The film is also going to be a laughter riot.

The movie Joker revolves around the story a NASA scientist of Indian origin Agastya and his wife find themselves on the road to Paglapur, a village of an asylum inmates, who broke loose, drove away the villagers and established their own republic in 1947. Agastya is working on a top secret project for creating a device to communicate with aliens. So why is he in a village, which has been completely disconnected from the whole world for the past 60 years? The rest of the story is an answer to this question.

However, it should be recalled here that during the release of Ra.One, Shirish Kunder had laughed off and said that his next movie Joker would be better than Shahrukh Khan's last film, which has joined the league of 100 crore movies. Now, Joker is set to release on this Friday, one can not stop ask these questions: Will Joker be really better entertainer than Ra.One? Will it break the record of Ra.One?
