I may get judged for this, but oh well.
For my brother's wedding that was less than two months ago, I had the wedding outfit made by Manish Malhotra...the one Genelia wore at her Sangeet (visited MM's showroom went I went to India in March). It was 98% the same thing...the only difference being that mine wasn't THAT blingy and some designs on the sleeve/upper body were different. That was my second option...the first option which I told of the designers at the boutique was what katrina wore at Filmfare 2010 cuz I had my eyes on it ever since I saw Katrina in it. But the designers there advised me not to get the one Katrina wore cuz it was "been there, done that" type. But no regrets, it's the best outfit ever!
The second one I brought in India was from the showroom of Archana Kochchar. I remember liking it the MINUTE I stepped into the place and at that time I didn't even know that it was the showstopper outfit that Amrita Rao had worn at a fashion show. But yeahh, they made a new piece for me, exactly the same. Lol that outfit is so close to my heart for some weird reason and I cannot wait to wear it.
Last (I've said this before on I-F on a topic similar to this)...the outfit Kareena and Karishma wore on Nach Baliye a few years ago. I LOVEDDD both of their outfits, so I wanted either. That was, and is, one of my most favorite outfit ever. I remember when I visited India in 2009, I went to every big shopping store and explained to them in detail what I wanted but none of them understood. My mom and aunt went crazy trying to get me to that outfit. Eventually though, I did get it. Not the exact same thing, but VERY similar to it. 😆
