that's a part and life of every actress or actor..they just can't be good in every movies...especially for actresses its very tough in a man's world to survive...i think Urmila did well for herself because everyone cant be a sridevi or a madhuri or a katrina.. Urmila did perform well, won few awards, worked with every top star in the industry ... inspite of coming from a non family background, she came a long way. I guess that deserves some respect.

i don't think kareena shot herself in the foot. its the other way around this time. actually this is the early sign of dhalti career...

maybe rohit wanted kareena, but it was srk who made the final decision. remember how kareena was going on and on about bodyguard and bhai, and hardly promoted ra 1. the reason she gave was saif fathers death, she needed to be there for saif, but surprising saif was back on his DISASTER in making agent vinod sets days after his fathers death. the only wise thing he did here was to cancel his ladyloves birthday celebration , hahaha..and ohh he demanded her to celebrate his birthday when there was a death in her kapoor family. what i am trying to say..she made all this excuses the truth is after the release of bodyguard everyone was ONLY talking about bhai and his power, HARDLY anyone talked about kareena kapoor, her role (lol was there even a role), many critics even lashed out at her for being a decorative piece in bg. with that she knew whats in store for ra 1 as well. she was again going to be a decorative piece ...thats why she hardly showed any interest in ra 1 promotion. srk is smart, he noticed that...so there...he kicked her out this time and in comes deepika, who is hot and happening after cocktail. hell, there are MANY other young talent out there.. there is no doubt..and lets give them a chance.

remember her saying how she or any other actress would give their right arm to be in srk movie. dear lord..

ram leela, no date issues, no moolah issues, its the wedding issue. thats why bhansali sacked her. and don't blame bhansali, blame urself. this is probably a HUGE loss for bebo, not for bhansali.

and if its going to be deepika..hell i don't mind at all..from the current lot i want deepu or sonakshi to do this movie. but deepu gonna nail it.

as for ekta and johar...haha..see how badly kareena wanted to do ram leela, that she didn't comprise even for kjo ...at the end its all bebos loss.

no wonder when she was kicked out of ram leela, ran to kjo crying, kjo dug into his garbage bin and handed her punits next.

Ok Shane I know you're a huge srk fan BUT. FYI srk went overboard with ra-one promotions. He started appearing at events a month in advance and if he expected the top actress of the time to tag along on his month long tour then he needs a wake up call lmao! Kareena promoted bodyguard for ONE WEEK ONLY. The week before release. A week long promotions and bodyguard was an ATBB while a month long promotion and srk's ra-one a DAMP SQUID. It was a pathetic film. Srk needs to learn that promotions cannot get you success. I'm glad Kareena put her foot down and shot her other films. And srk ain't doing so well nowadays. Looking like a wrinkled prune. So if he kicked Kareena out then no regrets. Let him rethink his career in the meantime lmao!

As for ram leela, I don't think anyone on this forum thinks too highly of bhansali. It would've been nice, but today Kareena is doing much better than slb and his list visions. If this didn't work out, more slb's loss than kareena's. A Kareena-ranveer project carries more weight than deepika-ranveer

yesterday, today, tomorrow - madhuri, and sridevi.no one will ever match these ladies.

today kareena and katrina...for whatever reasons, they are popular. and vidya in a different league...

god..when kareena first came i really thought she might go sri or madhuri way.she had everything going for her...madhuri and sri took everyone to new heights, you can't help but want a new face doing same now. you just want to root for this new face. but damn, nah..can we say its bebo arrogance which did the most damage early in her career.

i am NOT saying kareena promoted bodyguard ..i am saying she went on and on about khans, picking one over the other during bg promotions, and who can forget her calling bodyguard a CLASSIC, ...

but for some reason she distanced herself from ra 1. hell if she wanted, you think srk would have said no to her to join him for ra 1 promotions. she kept a low key...but as for damp squib...well desu you tell me, would you take bebo as a backup dancer in bodyguard, a dil muft hai or a chammak challo.

yes ra 1 was a damp squib, but more for srk, not for kareena kapoor. she got lots of praises from critics, and i know she will make sure to add this chammak challo in her resume.

forget about others when we talk about ram leela and bhansali. you tell me, don't you want to see kareena in a bhansali movie than doing a prakash jha movie..especially after heroine and talaash. yes, i know bhansali records, i know he screws up big time, BUT i also know that he takes care of his heroines, presents them beautifully, gracefully, the dances, the songs, the lavish sets, the costumes...

many say kareena lacks grace...don't you think this was a challenge for bhansali and kareena to show everyone ...that if given the "ladies director" you can make this happen. I wanted to see that challenge kareena take...i don't want to see her draped in a white dhoti in prakash jha movie...yet...hell i dont' think kareena needs to prove she can act...i wanted kareena and bhansali to take us to a fantasy land...

no matter how much you say you dont' care kareena is not doing bhansali movie..I KNOW you care, and you know I CARE. even tho i thrashed bhansali and srk devdas. yes there i said it.

and desu...if i am not wrong hum dil de chuke sanam was first offered to kajol, she refused, and it went to ash..rest is history...

ram leela offered to kareena, now IF it goes to deepika, who is graceful, CAN dance, showed that if given a right role,, she can easily fit in...cocktail...what if history repeats again.

Ofcourse I would have wanted to see this collaboration between Bhansali and Kareena, but I still maintain, though the loss is both, Bhansali lost an A lister actress with more starpower than Deepika.
You cannot argue there.
