😆Aish gets everything on her merit while Kareena on surname? Ya right! FYI Ash got HDDCS because Salman recommended her as he wanted to get to know her better so to speak. While there are whispers on how Ash bagged Bunty Aur Babli item number and D2 both of which have a Bachchan association. Ofcourse you wont believe it even if your goddess says it to you.

I am not denying that Kareena got her initial break due to her connections. But so did many others for instance Esha Deol. But Kareena has definitely survived due to her connections AND merit. Surname alone didnt help her come this long. Otherwise Abhishek would have been the biggest star today due to his surname.

Coming to Abhishek and VO former 'in' status...I suggest you get hold of some old magazines/paper cuttings from around the time Ash started dating them.

Umm..Ash's current popularity? Where's that? 😕I mean ok she wins a few internet polls where mostly NRIs participate but the ground situation in India among the mango people is entirely different. She's a Bachchan bahu so she gets written about. Any other woman as Bachchan bahu would have been written about too.

Brand Endorsement Shows The Result And The Popularity Shows The Results.Kareena got so many awards and way to get thousands of awards thats because of her talent and i can only see Asin got few award for debut role

Ash got HDDCS because of Salman? 😆 Yeah right! Madhuri was approached before Ash but she rejected the offer. Only then did Ash get it. If Salman was so sure about giving the role to Ash, why did SLB go to Mad before?
BTW, Salman gave a break to a LOT of actresses... Bhumika Chawla, Sneha Ullal, Zareen Khan, etc etc... where are they now? They are not where Ash is because they lack her merit.
If Kareena is here due to her surname AND merit, then so is Abhishek. Like you gave examples of Esha Deol, I could go on with a long list of people like Tusshar Kapoor, Zayed Khan, Fardeen Khan, Harman Baweja etc.
Current popularity as in the last year when she was working... 2011. Ormax media's survey proved that Aishwarya is still ahead of the Kareenas and the Priyankas who are almost a decade young and single.
If Aishwarya gets written for being a Bachchan Bahu, there are several other bahus of star parivaars... and they never get written about.

The point isn't about central character. The point is that ANYONE could have done that role just like you're saying "anyone" could have done Kareena's roles 😛

Well, anybody can do any role in any film, for that matter. 😆 My point is, there would be NO DIFFERENCE if Kareena and Asin are interchanged in their 100 crore films, because their parts are so insignificant and add nothing to elevate or or de-elevate the film.

With Dhoom, probably others could be able to do it too... but can they dance the way Ash did in Crazy Kiya Re, Dhoom Machale... or have a sizzling chemistry with Hrithik in the film? Kareena for example, would have been a miscast in this role. So yes it would have made a difference. Kangana could have done a better job, probably. So yes, it would have made a difference. It is because the character is not insignificant. Good or bad, the character mattered in the movie and hence when different actors do it, you see the difference... when your job is merely to act as a pretty girl for 20 minutes in a movie, I don't think it matters who is doing the role.
