^I do hope the hype doesn't kill the movie,like it did to Ra One.Definetely excited for Kareena in the movie,but as a script,I don't have much expectations from Heroine,just like the way i didn't have much expectattions from TDP as well.

Madhur is smarter. He wants Heroine to cut across sectors. He doesnt JUST want multiplexes or JUST single screens. He wants both.

The trailer was package to achieve that effect.

I think if it was Madhur,he woulkd've brought a much more edgy and dark trailer.But this time its UTV which is producing the film,so it was kinda expected to see a more glam trailer.

No, SB., its also Madhur.

Kareena spoke about it at the HT Leadership Summit last year.

They were talking about heroine oriented scripts and if girls get to do roles that are really edgy and exceptional, and she was talking about how they might, but audiences might be sketical, but more than audiences, even directors and producers are skeptical.

She then talked about how when discussing how to make Heroine posters, she wanted something dark, like something along the theme of Black Swan, but Madhur told her, "Kaun dekhne ayega aisi dark film? No we should have color, and this and that"

It's normal Desu, comparisons will be there since it gives some people a similar feel judging from the responses, extrapolate that to the outside populace BUT that's a good thing IMO, it still doesn't kill away the curiousity factor judging from the number of hits etc. So let's wish it all the best :)

today a big easily gets 4-5 trailer and tv spots...so it would be extremely disappointing if madhur or UTV takes the film with one trailer only.
