How did KAJOL become so PREDICTABLE and STALE?!!!!

😭😕 KAJOL was so vibrant and natural when she started out. She came in a bunch of films that showcased her talent such as DDLJ, Sapnay, Baazigar, Gupt, Ishq, Dushman, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, KKKH, Dil Kya Kare, etc. Then, after her uninspiring performance in KKKG, things seemed to go the predictable and stale route with Fanaa, My Name is Khan, and We Are Family. Now her comeback is going to be another Johar film? 😡 I used to like Kajol, but she is very predictable and stale. I don't think she should try to attempt another comeback. She should do some meaningful cinema. It is still not to late. But, I don't see her going out of the comfort zone. How did KAJOL become so predictable and stale? Please share your thoughts!!!!!!!!

The last movie that I watched of hers was Fanaa and she was really nice. I dont love her I dont hate her. She was really cute in DDLJ.

🤗 E-PATNI. Kajol's signature film is DDLJ. But, she is just not experimental. To boring now. 😭😆

I dont think she ever was experimental? I've only seen her in DDLJ, Some movie with Ajay Devgan, Kabhikhushikabhigham and Fanaa and she kinda played the same roles in all.

intersting, if a female is gone for one year, she is considered to be "making a comeback" but people like aamir who dissapear for three years its ok...

atleast she does what she is good at well! experiment should not always be at the top of head! look what happened with karisma with dangerous ishq!

kajol has atleast always remained sincere to her restriced genre which is fine! not every one experiments! atleast she gave us decent performances in those movies and became the only actress to win filmfare best actress 5 times!

her comeback is probably the only one in bollywood which was so good! how many of these making a come back like raveena karisma manisha can get khans to work with her! kajol still has khans and the best production houses willing to sign her (i might sound shallow but these facts have to be stated!)

is she boring and stale because she is working in the same production house or because of her roles, this is something i couldn't understand from your post... Why does it matter what production house you work in, when audiences just want to watch a good film? if you are offered a role from one of the most successful production houses in bollywood, why wouldn't you accept? aamir, salman, absheik, shahrukh...all these actors nexts are with yash raj...

2006- fanaa--- she played romantic blind girl

2007-u me aur hum ---mother with alzheimer

2010-my name is khan

2011- we are family- cancer patient...

these were all quite different roles and in my opinion very interesting roles...kudos to her for being nearly the only one of her generation that can pull of hits..look at karishma, her last one was a dud..

She does what she believes in and she does it well. Though im not really a fan of her because she is one of the most obnoxious actresses ever. Rude to a point and walks around with the holier than thou attitude. Irritating and annoying, to say the least.

Kajol didnt have to really work hard to stay in the limelight once she took a backseat from films. She got the best banners and the best costars on a platter thanks to YRF's and KJo's fondness for her while the rest had to slog it out to prove themselves capable of working with these people. No wonder she got complacent. But I am not so sure if Kajol really cares even now...
