Coming to the topic,I think the reason is that whoever comes to IF is just around one forth of the total people going to cinemas to watch movies in India.Not to forget,many members here are out of India as well so all the discussions in this forum which are against the commercial cinemas is not the complete picture of what the audiences like.From the start,the audience for the offbeat films or actors acting in such films is lesser than those opting for a Rowdy Rathore or Dabanng.Hence,its not about actors being bashed more by virtual members delivering ATBBs but more about real people liking such movies and buying tickets to watch such movies.What people on IF like is not liked by people..the junta...and what the aam junta likes is most often not liked by members on IF.And it holds true not only for movies but also tv shows discussed in the site.

And talking about the Indian vs American debate,with respect to films,Hollywood also produces heaps of crap every year like Bollywood so the situation is kind of same.

😆Now seeing the condition of the forum we need a new tagline-Movies, Masti aur Maardhaad. But I like 'Being Billa' the best.

Billa, when people talk about you that means you are doing something right.

Stars wouldnt be stars if they didn't get the adulation as well as the criticism that they get. If they dont attract extreme reactions they wouldn't be stars.

We also need to add 3 actress to the list-

1. Kareena- I probably am one of her biggest critic but even I recognise her success in the last year (only in terms of box office, her roles have been a disaster in my opinion)

2. Vidya Balan- We know how much you lau her, even she has been successful the last year. So thanks to you!

3. katrina- Probably the most critiqued in this forum for lack of acting, but then even she is successful.
