To be honest V... This thread is utter bullshit, no offense to anyone. There is hardly anything good to discuss here, but I guess there is hardly ever anything on this section.

Anyways, coming back to your question, my knowledge about movies is limited to what I see on the screen. Sometimes I don't even recognize who the actors are, but I still watch and add those movies to my fave list if I find them interesting.

I liked Dirty Picture, and not bcoz it was Vidya Balan or N.Shah or anyone, but more bcoz I liked the story. Only complaint I've from the movie is, that it din't do enough justice to Silk Smita... If a producer is trying to cash-in on someone's story (howmuchever they deny it), then they should also try giving them that credit. She did have some character roles to her credit, before she turned into a full-fledged item girl. Well whatever, there go my two cents 😆

ps - I don't know who charges how much. All I know is, that I pay up my $12-$15(at times more) to go and watch the movie, and I have no complaints ever when I walk out of a theatre 😃

It's "dirty" where a curvacious lady gets "dirty", isnt that a reason enough? ;)

OK, I havent watched the movie.. but I did see clips of Vidya'a acting here and there, boy... she's VERY talented! I am waiting and I wanna know if it'd ever be telecasted on TV. i honestly cannot think of any other actress do Silk as good as Vidya(maybe Kareena could've but Vidya did an awesome job! (actingg).

And actresses dont get National Award for mediocre acting :) ..they get it because and only when they deserve it..

Some people may not find her acting khaas.. that doesnt mean she didnt deserve it.
