1) You've writen a script, it can be anything you want, you want to make this movie, pick your cast/crew IF members, and give us a brief synopsis of this movie.
Since I recently saw the trailer for Django Unchained, Quentin Tarantino's spaghetti western, I feel inspired. The remake/copy bug has struck me. I will be making a chutney-sambhar western called - Yenna D3vila Mind It!
Kutty [short of a long South Indian name that is an invallid word on IF] played by you is a bounty hunter. Your goal is to kill the three deadly ninja asassins of the south in venegance - Mandeshwari (Mandy), Madeshwari (Maddy) and Soureshwaram (Souro). Why is a mystery to be unveiled in the plot. So you hire a slave from a coal mine D3vilarascala played by D3vil himself as only he has faced their wrath and lived to tell the tale. In return you promise to reunite him with his long lost love Versacheshwari (Easy A). Now Versace is held captive as a slave on XetaCrixaDextra's (Xeta) coconut plantation. Xeta is a voluptuous and sensual southern belle and she gets what she wants. Her tag line in the film is "You like my coconuts. Simbly the best!". Can Kutty and D3vil free Versace from the clutches of Xeta. Or will they too fall prey to the alluring charms of Xeta like many men before them.
It will be an action packed adventure with lots of South Indian ninja fight sequences, bullock cart chases and coconut smashing laced with sultry games of seduction, intrigue and deceit.
It will be directed by SB. The script will be written by the multitude of IF South Indians. I will produce and promote it. Videography and Cinematography is Maya.
Taco, Priya and Jaya will feature in the item songs like "Spicy Coconut Curry" "Play with Coconuts" and "Coconut Milk".
2) What do you DISLIKE about Harry Potter?
If you mean the series
- The epilogue was a huge disappointment. It was cliche, conventional and ruined the entire series
- I'm from the camp that believes Harry should have died in the end. Letting him live was just a lame means to please fans. Harry's death would have been a darker, but much more meaningful, thoughtful end to the series
- Dumbledore being gay was ridiculous. Everyone knows Luna is the real lesbian.
If you mean the character
- For a hero he is too flawed. A bit to angsty, judgmental, arrogant and extremely self centered
- He often takes his friends and loved ones for granted
- He has a misplaced sense of pride in his notion of destiny
- He lacks a genuine sense of humor
- He is not likable as a person unless you are enthralled by the series
3) Who gave you the most trouble when you was a mod?
It definitely has to be DoggieDawg/Crossroads7/Cuckoo etc. Almost all my problems were directly or indirectly caused by him. I wish Raj5000 would have remained more active. After all he had banned the previous IDs and had all the details.

When Mister.K gave me his blog link it was with the understanding that it was to remain private and not shared with anyone. I keep my promises. No matter what, I won't share the link unless he gives me his explicit permission. Others have also badgered and failed.
Since Blue-Ice was curious, his blog was about his favorite pastimes - the quest for 'that', who am I, metaphysics, abiogenesis, etc. If people are genuine about bringing him back, I would suggest a serious discussion on his favorites. It is the only thing that may lure him.

7) Since you're an animal lover, explain how being a non-veg and animal lover isn't hypocritical?
We are all just part of the food chain and circle of life. Carnivores and predators kill for their food, but still live in harmony with nature. It is not hypocritical to be true to nature. Human beings were intended to be hunter/gatherers. Ideally we ought to hunt/grow and gather our own food, but the human species including vegetarians is too far gone for that. The best we can do is respect nature, appreciate what we receive, consume with temparance and minimize negative impact on the world around us. I don't see ourselves as a superior species or other species as inferior. I think all things were created equal in nature and our intelligence and abilities is supposed to make us good stewards not abusers. It is virtually impossible, but I always recommend that people try to eat as natural as possible with minimal chemicals, preservatives and pesticides. Meat eaters should try and consume only meat that was humanely raised and slaughtered. Avoid factory farmed dairy or meat where the animals are abused. The biggest no no for me is things like foie gras which are explicitly cruel to animals and the consumption of rare and endangered species.
Vegetarianism is supposed to be about compassion. But I see so many vegetarians who don't give a rats ass about nature and would not think twice to kick a dog or whip a horse. They don't give a damn about poached and illegal ivory, leather, fur etc. I find utter disregard for other species and environment far more cruel and hypocritical. Not all vegetarians are that way, a lot of vegetarians are genuinely compassionate and I admire their restraint from meat. But the illogical holier than thoust ones piss me off. Similarly, I can't stand meat eaters who are entitled, greedy, consumerist pigs who just eat like gluttons and don't care about anything else.
8) Is self-righteousness a bad thing even when you're right?
There is nothing wrong in being right, knowing you are right and asserting you are right. I think people ought to have self-confidence to know when they are right. The problem with self-righteous people is that they assume they are right all the time and consider themselves superior to others. Humans are not perfect, there are many different perspectives on things. We have to accept that we maybe wrong, we may see things differently and others maybe better at times. Self-righteous people are unwilling to accept their flaws and shortcomings and that is why it is a bad thing.
9) What are Taco's strengths, what does she have that you lack?
I find her to be a lot more practical and grounded. She is calm and not easily flustered. Her sense of intuition and perception is excellent.
