He isn't a mainstream actor, he is a niche actor who acts in niche films. I dont think he has the charisma that is needed for a mainstream Bollywood actor, and i think he realises it himself. hich is why he picks up the movies he does.

^ Agreed he can be regarded as an actor who belongs to the category of Naseeruddin Shah,Pankaj Kapoor etc.. not an out and out Box-office crowd puller like the Khan's or for that matter Hrithik.

@ guess_who I compared him with Naseer coz he's a good actor just like Naseer is.. and even Naseer in his youth tried commercial cinema and didn't fare well.. Its my opinion no need of mocking it.

He is good actor... Defo better than the trash we have now.

But who said Abhay hasn't fared well?

Aisha was a HIT? thats news to me 😕 ZNMD had an ensemble cast.. OLLO and Dev D I agree were his Hits 😊

Indian masses thrive on trash like Ready and Rowdy Rathore. Don't blame Abhay for his misfortune, I'd rather blame the senseless masses. Abhay is such a talented actor that I feel sorry he belongs to a medium such as Bollywood in order to prove himself.

i remember audince feeback for aisha on IFM was that they came to see abhay in film and he had short role

and movie is above average semi hit

Dev D clean hit OLLO had to suffer thanks to 26/11

manorama i understand off beat same with ek 40 ki last local but he had honeymoon travels again hit

and now ZNMD one of big hit

abhay does one or 2 films pert year unlike abhishekk so his hits and flops last longer than other actors

and i u see feedbcak for shanngjhai on IFM audince feedback was positive for abhay

he never recived bad feedback for his perfromance evn for aisha he was saving grace in film

wait for CHAKRAVYUH his 1st big budget solo film
