Vidya's dad didn't find 'The Dirty Picture' vulgar - Page 3

I guess some parents would be embarrassed about such films though, our culture is very shy about anything sexual. And that's their prerogative. Personally, I don't think TDP is vulgar and I don't think Vidya's father has anything to be embarrassed about. It was not as if she actually made a po*n film. She just portrayed a character. It was a biopic. Nothing wrong with what he said

what i meant to say ...irrespective of what others think here...Vidya did an awesome job. regarding her exposure, which was done more by the cameras and the director herself she deserves full marks..

1) why doesn't anyone mention the scene when she goes into depression and comes out of her house and screams and ask anyone to listen her...anyone mentioned that brilliant scene NO !

2) the scene where she confronts emraan at the beach..that one !

3) her speech right at the interval and when she confronts her mom...

nobody mention these scene where her acting prowess comes out...everyone sees the vulgarity well to each his own.

his father believes that her daughter has done nothing bad...and she doesn't look Vulgur. Every actress looks vulgur in the sense...mallika sherwat in murder...urmila in tanha tanha song from Rangeela...they were all called vulgur at some point...and i don't think they were...its all in the perception.
