Corruption is extremely dangerous in Medical field thats the issue...
That doesnt mean they should not work for money, coz I have seen many of student docs who survive on extreme conditions, loans, and stress related to it...
They have to regain all the money their parents put in, but earning money by faster means does not serve the aim...
As shown in SMJ, docs can do social service and earn handsomely...neeyat chahiye...
I have seen a case where doc studied on loan, served people free, and a day came when he was piled by loans and ultimately he quittedI have seen multiple cases like this, there is also a Hindi story written by Shivani Upadhyaya I guess. Many doctors quit due to depression.
The negligence part was not covered in the show, how much pressure is handled by doc to do well and some rare cases are they are which has little hope...
This message had to be brought upon by AamirSo true! While I am happy that Aamir brought out the matter of corruption, I am left wondering if anyone, ever, will think of making a show/documentary of the conditions that the doctors face at govt. hospital face everyday. No change comes in the hospitals, hostels and salaries unless we go on strike, and even then we are bashed.
Doctors should be less influenced by pharma companies and vice versa...There is a resident in my hospital who demands samples from the pharma companies and then gives them to the poor patients free of cost. Robin Hood style.š³
Also the fact about the generic medicines, these are provided in municipal hospitals, but all the medicines cannot be sold on these rated, coz as they are new, patents related to that medicines are involved[ for NDDS drugs like sustained release, or coating, floating] the production costs are very high, and the price with which patents are purchased is also high]
So not possible to give all drugs on generic cost...whichever can be arranged should be done promptly by pharma associations Exactly! And you being in the field would know better that many doctors prefer giving combination drugs bcos they are more effective! That doesn't necessarily mean that they want to exploit the patients.
The thing is everyone wants to earn more and more...
for poor people gove hospitals arent enough, see the amount of patients each day come at kem JJ...
There is no balance at all...
