Sabyasachi will not be styling Aishwarya Rai for Cannes red carpet

Aishwarya Rai is expected to be in Cannes on May 24-25 to attend the L'Oreal Paris - amfAR dinner. Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who was rumored to be styling Ash, denies that he is designing Aishwarya's wardrobe.

Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has shot down rumours that he is designing Aishwarya Rai's wardrobe for the Cannes red carpet. "I don't know from where this news is coming. I am not styling Aishwarya for Cannes red carpet," Mukherjee told IANS.

It was reportedly said that the newly turned mom, who received criticisms from some quarters for her post pregnancy weight, will don a creation by Mukherjee during her appearance at the 65th Cannes International Film Festival.

Aishwarya Rai will be in Cannes May 24-25 where she will attend the L'Oreal Paris - amfAR (The American Foundation for AIDS Research) dinner that will help raise funds for the fight against AIDS.

In the past, Ash opted for gowns made by some of the international designers including Elie Saab and Armani Prive.

R u kidding me?? Every designer wud be dying to get their clothes on Aish. U forgot that article by that Nawazuddin? I am sure Sabyasachi wud have loved to dress Aish but she is appearing there for Loreal so she has to wear Western. I am hoping she goes for Armani or Eli Saab

Its Sabhyasachi's loss...when Aish was slim and trim...any damn faishon designer could have made her good look...now that she has put on some post pregnancy weight...it would have been a challenge...and Sabhya ran away from the challenge...what a coward and a QUITTER...tsk, tsk..

Aish still looks as pretty...she is a Mom now...and a little weight gain is normal...I wish people would stop judging her on that.
