I also wanan see Saif with Vidya, Priyanka, anyone that suits his age!
Its just ironic that the same janta that gives bhajans about how Saif is too old for Kareena (even onscreen) has no qualms about these 40 plus actors with youngsters like Deepika.
And Deepika looks even YOUNGER than her contemporaries. Sonakshi, for instance, still has a slightly older look.
Not to mention, Deepiak is so TALL, while Saif is SHORT.
He looks even older when paired up with her. What's wrong with these producers?

Ahhh Saif-Vidya in Parineeta set the screen on FIRE. Their chemistry was so HOT <33 *goes into Praineeta heaven* I love that movie to bits and pieces. They really need to work together again!
Saif and PC will look really good together, I am sure, but its never going to happen. 😆
Now that Rani, Preity are coming back, Saif can work with them..he doesn't really suit the younger heroines..Sonakshi looks older so they might look fine, and he might look good with Parineeti, but Deepika, Sonam is a no-no. I think producers think Saif-Deepika are a hit jodi because of LAK success, so we keep getting stuck with them..😕 I wish they'd realize there were a lot of factors that helped LAK become so big and the pairing itself wasn't really one of them (at least IMO)..

Agreed! None of the older lot suits the younger heroines. The age is starting to show, and pairing up with these fresh young faces is NOT a good comparison.
You've brought up a good point. A lot of actresses are coming back. I hope for audience's sake, that bollywood finally starts making movies with STORIES, MATURE STORIES.

Mature good stories..sounds so foreign. 😆 Anyways, I'm hoping that the success of small films like PST, Kahaani, Vicky Donor have reminded BW that good content is always appreciated!

I stopped thinking those stories were possible in desi context.
But a few good small budget bollywood films alongside some great Pakistani dramas have given me hope.

Aren't Pakistani dramas generally supposed to be good? I've always heard very good things about them..that they're very mature shows with good storylines, and the best part is they don't go for 10 years. Indian soaps are hopeless though, except 1 or 2 here and there 🤔 I do think the recent trend of "mature love stories" on Indian TV can inspire BW filmakers.

In the past 4 years, I've seen some AMAZING Pakistani dramas.
Yes, they are on average, about 20 episodes long. They're normally gritty, real, subtle, and lack melodrama, which I welcome with open arms.
The best part is, every episode (including last episode) is shot BEFORE the first episode airs. So there's no quesiton of extending for sake of TRPs. They shows are packaged as a STORY.
As bad as the Pakistani film industry is, that's how good the television shows are.
I got Dex and Serenity to check one of my favorite show, Quaid E Tanhai, and they both finished it wtihin 2 days 😊

That sounds so good! That's how it SHOULD be. Shows should have a planned story and an end in mind! That's how the YRF shows were..pity they didn't get the TRPs =/
Quaid E Tanhai, okay I will watch that in my summer break. Thanks for the suggestions desigal :)
Okay we are wayyy off topic now 😆 And I'm falling asleep so I'm gonna go to bed now..Good night :)
