An actor is capable of performing any roles..and i think If given a chance Vidya can excel a role like geet and kareena too can make wonders...

I don't think Vidya can do a geet,she lacks the bubliness of a character like Geet.She excels more in mature roles coz both her body language and dialogue delivery suits her mature personality whereas Kareena is more youthful,even if she does a serious role,the bubliness is visible and hence she is better in roles from films like JWM and EMAET.

I love them both! Kareena can't do what Vidya can do and vice versa. Imagine Vidya in Chamak Challo! Oh the horror! and Kareena can't pull of mature roles.

Of course Vidya. Kareena's way too over-rated while Vidya's self made. She's no match for powerhouse Vidya. BTW I personally feel Karishma and Vidya are better comparisons.

Vidya Balan because she is not been in the industry for a decade, however she has won 2 filmfare best actress awards, 1 national award, and has 2 hit movies inwhich she was the main protagonist! so she has basically achieved more than actresses who have been here for more then a decade!
