When Salman Khan tweeted Arjun Kapoor!

Mumbai: Not too long ago, there were rumours that Salman Khan does not want to promote his friend Boney Kapoor's son Arjun on Twitter. But the biggie's latest tweets about the latest kid Kapoor have put all speculations to rest.

The 'Dabangg' Khan took to Twitter and wrote, "Yup ! Arjun ranawat in my janam bhumi INDORE .(sic)."

He also stated the he address Arjun Kapoor as Arjun Ranawat, hence the "wrong" name on the tweet!

"Yup ! I call arjun kapoor arjun ranawat(sic)," the actor clarified.

"Tweeted after a v long time," he then adds..

Apparently, Arjun owes his acting career to Khan as he had no inclination towards acting initially. It was Salman who had helped him discover the actor in him and motivate him to shed his flab.

Talking to a daily, Arjun said, "Salman is my elder brother. Once, long back, he had told me that he thought I was cut out for acting, and should try my hand in it. That time, I was really obese (140 kg), and couldn't imagine myself as an actor. Salman literally took me under his wings. I travelled with him for almost two years while he was working on Veer and Wanted, and worked out with him. He believed in me and that's why I am here today."

Arjun is all set to make his debut with 'Ishaqzaade' opposite Parineeti Chopra.

I dont agree. Salman always does what his heart says, he does not give into media or outside pressures. Otherwise he would have made up with SRK by now. This is what I like about him, he is real and does not pretend.

If it was his own issue he wouldnt have bothered I guess. But his brother is involved here. There were already whispers about Arjun and Malaika. But once it came out in the respected TOI Salman had to damage control for his brother's sake.
