Kareena is magic: Imran KhEkta Kapoor and Karan Johar wanted to cast Kareena Kapoor for a thriller directed by a newcomer. Emraan Hashmi is playing the main lead in the film. But reportedly Kareena Kapoor has turned down the offer by saying she is not convinced about the role.

When a leading daily contacted Kareena Kapoor to confirm the news, she told that she is down with throat infection and fever. Kareena said that Heroine's schedule has been very gruelling for her as there is too much crying and shouting in the film. She also revealed that she is not doing Karan-Ekta thriller. Kareena rejected the offer last week.
