I think it it is possible. As my parents like dex and others mentioned are religious, but they are open minded to certain extent, also We celebrate both punjabi and Hindu customs. Regarding dating, my parents are okay with it, but they personally want guy be punjabi, or Indian. Yet, have become open minded on non indian as well, since many cousins have intermixed. Yet have some relatives who are super strict.
