The two films in which Hrithik was really, really impressive were Jodhaa Akbhar (no one could have played that part physically other than Hrithik) and now Agneepath!

He is a very talented actor...but has been hugely inconsistent with his work...always giving into the demands of stardom rather than taking risks as an actor...and unfortunately for him, whenever he has taken risks as an actor, he has failed!

But to answer the original question, yes...Hrithik has very much overtaken SRK! Both as an actor and most definitely as a star!

I dont really like HR's recent work. I preferred him in his early days when he was doing Fiza or Mission Kashmir. But now I find him a boring actor onscreen especially since KMG.

other than that i considered hrithik good till dhoom 2...but in Kites and Guzzarrish, there are no definitions to explain how much he pissed me off...in kites there was so much overacting that i can't really tell what was going on...Hrithik's ambition to become an International Filmstar was such a dud and Guzaarish, the lesser the better...inspite of his ok performance he was really annoying to the core...i haven't still ZNMD till now becoz i hate farhan akhtar...and yet to see Agneepath...even if he tries to be great...i dont think he is going to bring back tht impression.

No one can overtake the three Mega Khans...SRK, Salmaan and Amir...all three of them already have a permanent place at the top...recently Hritik's Kite bombed at the BO and ZNMD...was not his movie...it belonged to Farhaan Akhter...Agneepath is good...but not enough for him to beat the Khans...although Hritik is an awesome actor...far more better than the 3 Khans...and he has raised the level of acting in Bollywood...
