Why doesn't Vidya lose the weight she gained?

She looks good with those few extra kilos. I dont mind her weight much as long as she delivers some power packed performances. Even Vidya knows she can never be those slim bodied girls so she has stopped worrying about her weight. And I think that's a good attitude. She doesn't give two hoots about what everyone is saying(esp media) about her weight.

I agree with most of you - she doesn't need to be thin, paper-like and then vanish eventually or be replaced like tissues.

It's her acting and personality that matters, and here's hoping that she keeps on enacting such kick ass roles.

As for the weight she had gained for TDP, am sure she will lose it eventually. Losing weight is not so easy, unless and until one goes under the knife.

So here's wishing Vids all the best.

This was a very rude comment to imply all southern actresses are fat, that couldn't be further from the truth.

As for Vidya, I think she looks good. Vidya has proven you don't need to be a size zero to be beautiful, successful. Vidya stands out amongst the rest for all the right reasons
