scenes in bollywood nowadys or is this also a cheap way for our producers n directors for selling their films.I was just watching an old film jab jab phool khile a few days back and i never felt the need of a kissing scene in it coz the romance was so pure and the actors so competent so why do we need to have kissing scenes in every film, family watching has become a strict no no.The scene in Rockstar where ranbir n nargis kiss i felt i was watching a hollywood film, there was no innocence in it,the kissing scene in brilliant films like jab we met,3 idiots was not needed also the scenes in band baja baraat, kaminey, anjana anjani, bachna ae hasino were vulgar. We had love stories which rocked without such scenes JTYJN,Hum tum and Wake up sid,so why cant our directors think out of the box and make clean family entertainers and write good scripts instead of making everything look embarrsing, there r enough english films for that. What do u guys think about it.

IMO most of the kissing and love-making scenes in Bollywood and other film industries like Hollywood are unneccessary. I know times have changed but still...kissing and lovemaking are used as tools to titillate the audience when creativity is lacking. No wonder Bodyguard which didnt have any of these was a big hit as families could go watch it.

in my opinion also there should not be any kind of lewd scenes in films that keep us away from watching films while watching it in front of family , several times i noticed that story going to be interesting but Meanwhile unnecessary kissing scene came due to which i left watching film...

Nope, IMO, most kissing scenes have been okay.

It's not like a kiss is meant to be such an R-rated concept that we're meant to watch with locked doors, in darkness. There's po*n for that.

I do feel, however, that movies without proper kissing scenes, especially in the past, had excessive, unnecessary amounts of squish-my-face-all-over-your-breasts scenes. THOSE were difficult to watch, legitimately.

Most kissing and sex related scenes are just meant to titillate the audience and the story can do very well without it. Still as they say it sells so they create. SOmetimes such scenes become the only selling point of a movie and people flock to watch that and we have a hit!😕

Unfortunately Bollywood is following Hollywood's footsteps.. The reason we watched Bollywood movies is because they were family oriented and even romantic films did not have kissing scenes but nowadays there is a lot of tongue action going on. IMO, bed scenes et al are private moments and should not be shown in films. Might as well show people using the bathroom, oh wait, that's already been done in Hollywood!

They cover it up by saying it's "integral" to the plot or takes the story forward but it offers no contribution whatsoever other than promoting oversexuality to the society. And like someone pointed out above, to titillate the audience to watch those films as they are probably lacking in content!

All in all, this is all the work of the Illuminati and they've succeeded. 😛

The case with all Pooja Bhatt's films. No content just sex.

Yeah so true, Jism and then Murder🤢. The big banners of bollywood have used such scenes to their advantage and sold their movie. The good thing is it doesnt work all the time.
