unfortunately the bollywood actors make the kissing scenes appear very very cheap on screen,case in point the kissing scene in rockstar i dont have anything against ranbir but after watching that scene i felt they could have done without that scene and the film would have been good.Even if the dirty picture was not based on silk smithas life it would have the most vulgar film made in the history of indian cinema.

Generally, most of the things in movies are done to 'titillate' the audience - sexually or otherwise, regardless of how they are depicted.

I don't have a problem even if they decide to take all their clothes off, and indulge in the most raw sex ever, given that the scene adds meaning and depth to the film. If it's not my cup of tea, I avoid it. Simple.

I don't watch movies with my family, so it's never an issue. When I do plan to watch them with my family, I'd ensure they are not 'A' rated. ; )

i think what i want to say has been best portrayed by ...naseeruddin shah in the dirty picture...'public ko masala chahiye...es film mein sex dalo...acchi filmein film festival ki shobha badhati hai par theatre mein kutta bhi muh nahi marta'

what an irony but so true...double standards of audience gives it all

Yes if kiss and love making scenes are really needed then there is no problem showing that ...

But just for the sake of it ..no

Lets take the situation of two Murder movies

First one needed to show sex scenes because it was about the extra marital affair but with no love between the couple .It became a hit

Mr bhat understood the selling point was sex

But in MURDER2 there was no need for sex scenes ,they were there to titillate ..

I have problem with the second one ...

BTW BODYGAURD was a horrible movie with or without sex scenes

What it is...when I watch a film that contains lovemaking or kiss scenes it's so difficult to watch films because parents are in the room too which makes it difficult for me to be in the room...I do fast forward it but sometimes they do get a bit "arghhh" when these scenes pop up...I don't have a problem with kissing scenes but is it necessary to have it in films that aren't necessary?

in hollywood the kissing and all is accepted because its in their culture...ppl in real also kiss in public or in front of their parents!!

but in our desi community its not accepted so why dont they make movies which dont have this...or the love scenes should be appropriate according to movie not randomly they kiss in public...when does that happen? lol

I really don't have a problem with Kissing scenes but watching sex scenes while your parents or other family members are around it's just too strange and awkward, I just fast forward them.

The Worst sex scene ever: Sanjay Dutt and Vidya Balan in parineeta was just too disgusting to watch I always skip that part every time I watches the movie.

Almost every kissing scene is not needed in Bollywood, I honestly believe the old movies like KKHH had the pure innocent romance... that's why I loved Mausam I guess.
