Apparently, when Akshay saw an edited version of Joker, he was livid. The film is reportedly about a bunch of people who escape from a mental asylum and reach a village and how an alien finds them.

'Khiladi' Kumar told Shirish that he did not want the film to release the way it had been made and wanted quite a few changes in it. Later, after a discussion with the director, it was finalised that Joker will release after Rowdy Rathore. Joker will be the fourth Bollywood film after Haunted - 3D, Ra.One and Don 2, that will be made in 2D and 3D formats. Akshay will be seen opposite to Sonakshi Sinha in the movie.

Kunder has earlier written flop films like Jaan-e-Mann and Tees Maar Khan.

Not being rude but Akki should've known better IMO...I mean Joker doesn't seem like an amazing film...God knows what trailers will be like.

Akshay why did you have to do a movie with that "joker" director again... Anyway, I am waiting for the promo's before deciding if its good or bad.
