I get the whole- Any publicity is a good publicity tactic.. But how is him being a neanderthal going to help the movie..Most of the urban crowd is already put off by his attitude.

Full quote, one that was taken when he was doing an interview for Agent Vinod. So no, he's not calling up the press randomly giving quotes, as some would like to believe.

Saif is NOT asking for publicity.

He HAS to do interview for Agent Vinod, like ANY OTHER ACTOR before the release of their film. He's actually trying to push this matter aside.

I've seen it in at the HOcky press conference where he requests the press to just not talk about it for that event. But the press doesnt listen ofcourse 😆

I hope AV takes a bumper opening! 😃

No thats fine. Doesn't matter if he wants to talk about it or is forced to talk about it. What happened to good old "No comments about the scandal lets talk about the movie"?? He is of course an A list movie star to command that kind of attention. That would have shown his sophistication.

I think what he means to say is that the way people are crucifying him in press is as if he committed some heinous crime, like for example, raping a high member of the church.

He's frustrated.

This controversy has done him more damage than good. As producer, he has ot do a thousand things before the release of the film, and this controversy just added another burden he had to deal with.

The actual fight has died down now. Sharma & he are in talks and are dealing with it out of court, but the impact its left is not dying.

I just hope Agent Vinod is not affected by it. It'll be a shame.

The team spents 2 years on it. That's what Saif was saying as well, that this entire mess si so unfair to the team (not including himself)

But he brought the religion thing here so what if it was,

Won't it be controversial? I am not a religionist and neither do I want to bring up different religions here but since the Actor himself said it, I am just telling my POV. N being a public figure he should refrain from making such a comment.

Again RAPE is not a word to be joked around with. I feel so ..You might not.

Fair enough Somzz, that your point of view and that's fine as well. 😊I personally am not too sensitive about making such statements. Especially if a person is frustrated and feels that everyone is targetting him etc etc.

Its just sad that this negative publicity has completely overshadowed Agent Vinod. That's what he was afraid woudl happen wtih Kareena and him promoting together. Film deserves a fair chance.

I hope Saif dances with joy after Agent Vinod's release like he is in my siggies 😳

I like your positive energy, despite, all the controversy. well, I am looking to see this movie regardless what's going on, because it looks cool
