Pits of banal asskissing

So Suhana won the the Hindustan Times Scholarship. I don't begrudge the child that (provided she got it fair and square,). However, SRK is a millionaire. Why does she need that scholarship? She does not. Why could they not give it to someone more deserving? Why pacify the ego of a star child that probably is already on her way to becoming a diva? There are millions of school kids in India who would love to use that money to go to school. And here we have an already pampered child getting a "scholarship". Ridiculous does not begin to explain this atrocity.

I agree she does not need it. They should have said thanks and given it to the runner up or someone else. Then again, papa loves awards and recognition. Toh beti kis ki hai lol
@dex, yes name is more chakkass(cool) as Anil would say, with a tapori edge.
okay me out, as SRK group will have lots to say lol

It's really pathetic..SRK not only buys awards for himself but for his family too. His daughter doesn't even look happy in the picture..maybe she even knows.

Yes. I was going for the chichori, rapchick, tapori vibe. So you're right on the money.😆

What ? You people consider me a bigger star than SRK? I'm flattered but lets stick to the topic. 😆

So what do you think about this blatant asskissing? 😡

Wether srk bought the award or not, we will never know...but lets assume he didn't, it would also be unfair to suhena if she was forced to give up an award that she deserved for her talent just because her father is successful, she hasn't accomplished anything yet, so why destroy the dreams and happiness of an innocent 11 year old? But i agree that she certainly does not need the money, it would have been wise of srk to just have accepted the recognition and passed on the money to the runner up...

I all for her getting the trophy and certificate but I hardly think she needs the Rs50,000 that Hindustan Times gives the award recipients. Rs50,000 is like pocket money for her.

Suhana and Aryan have won some martial arts competition before. There was no such topic created by me then to rebuke their win because no scholarship was involved. This time around though, I'm pretty sure there are many more deserving students who are in dire need of that money than she'll ever be. So, this seems a little appalling. A scholarship by definition is an award of financial aid given to recognize merit. She does NOT NEED the aid. That's my main bone of contention.
