Umm, from what I've heard, Mujras these days in certain "districts" are pretty vulgar. The mujras these days are not the mujras from the Umrao Jaan days.

I dont think the makers here were attempting vulgar mujras of recent times. Rather they were aiming for something like Umrao Jaan style.

With all the boob shaking and ass shaking maybe they wanted to differentiate themselves. But seriously no actress of today has it kn her to perform a proper mujra with all the nazakat and the aadayein. They can only do chikni chameli or chammak challo.

People, people, take a chill pill.

Though I agree, this was quite a lousy attempt at a mujra/dancing... the only parts of that trailer I liked were the exchanges that Saif/Kareena shared and it sparked some curiousity about the storyline... the rest of it, nah, Kareena's facial expressions are fine but just because it is a mujra which is a full out dance, it didn't live up to any expectations.

mujra is a mujra dude, madhuri's mujra from devdas was not vulgar! mujras have been and will always be graceful!
