Some of the posts are really funny.
SRK's sister was there and so Shrish must have said something bad about her to get slapped.
Farrah had commented to the press and SRK has kept quite, so Farrah must be in the wrong
SRK had only got into an argument, no physical assault. And in the same breath, Shrish should have been kicked and not slapped

I want to get into the lalaland that is a SRK fan's brain to see how I can deal only in hypotheticals and ignore reality

MUMBAI: Did Shah Rukh Khan beat Shirish Kunder? Was Shah Rukh Khan provoked? What was host Sanjay Dutt doing when the skirmish took place?

Loads of questions but Businessofcinema.com has the answers… Shirish Kunder was thrashed by Shah Rukh Khan at Sanjay Dutt's party held on Sunday night at a trendy watering hole in Mumbai's Juhu area.

SRK had just finished hosting the much delayed Filmfare Awards at Film City, when he decided to drop in for Sanju Baba's success party of Agneepath. Shirish Kunder had already downed a large quantity of alcohol and was on the offensive with other guests, much before SRK made his appearance. Sanju baba was aware of this state.

Once the director saw the superstar, he started his provocation. Said an eye witness, "SRK was provoked no less than 5 times, before he was given the go ahead by Sanjay Dutt, and SRK landed his first punch…." Others say that Sanju too got into the fray and gave a few blows to Shirish, before he was pulled back by his cronies.

That Shirish is not a popular guy in tinsel town and most tolerate him because he is the hubby of Farah Khan, is a known fact. And Shirish who tweeted after seeing Ra.One "I just saw a 150 crore firework "fizzle", was already in SRK's bad books.

While SRK known for his calm composure and also for the fact that he walks away from any form of provocation, must have been struck on a raw nerve to explode like this, say his close friends.

So on the weekend that Bollywood saw its first hit at the box office, it also saw star fireworks off the screen… After all, how can a Khan stay away from the limelight when there is a "hit"

I have been saying this for ages! SRK really needs a break! The man is a machine and works non stop and is way too competitive! Someone needs to switch him off. Just bcoz Shirish is ugly looking, just bcoz Shirish tweeted nonsense abt SRK's movie, just bcoz Shirish made crap movies like TMK, just bcoz Shrish is friends with Salman, just bcoz Farah doesnt get along with SRK etc etc etc all these reasons are enough to justify why SRK hit the guy and people are applauding this ridiculous behavior... All the time we talk abt how the powerful and the rich get away with crime and how it is unfair to the victims and now when a fav celeb commits the crime its all okay bcoz the other guy is ugly looking or the guy is abnoxious or the guy tweets stuff ...

No wonder people suck up to the big sharks like these celebs and support them inspite of all these follies... Birds of a feather flock together... No wonder so much support from the fraternity... You save me today i save you tomorrow is their funda... 😆

Could not agree more Maddy! Shirish apparently deserved it because he is considered obnoxious and happened to go against the great SRK! I can think of many exactly like that...I guess they all deserve a beating! 😕

Why is it so hard to belive that SRK did this? Every human tends to go viral at one point. SRK can't keep it all in him, which is why he usually jokes about things. This fight was probably way more offensive and ugly then all the spats before though.
I'm disappointed in SRK because he's resorting to cheap gimmicks, causing many of his fans to hate him. It's high time now that he copes up with his family and his life, better now then when it's too late.
And the way Shirish has been posting on twitter, that jerk has been loving every bit of the publicity he's been getting. Ass.

SRK's really on a self-destruct mode. Why oh why?
Sooner or later this man is gonna have a huge break-down.

He needed one a few years ago..but now its gotten out of hand.

@bold Yes most definitely. But who will make him realize this and truly accept it? It's easy to say oh it doesn't last forever, but dealing with it is damn hard...especially for someone as competitive as SRK. I think SRK's far too scared of not being on top, of not having the same fame and adulation as before to really deal with it. I remember that interview of his about not knowing what to do if his stardom leaves because all his life he's only really wanted one thing and chased after one thing..and if its gone he doesn't know what he'll do. Well SRK really is showing that..he doesn't know how to deal with it. He needs a time off...Maybe Gauri should put her foot down and drag SRK far far away from all this.

they were drunk. It was a drunken brawl. I dont know what really happened. All i know is Shahrukh is a much bigger person in life. He's been in the industry for 20 years. Shirish should know how to respect his seniors. And shahrukh is shahrukh man. Its just a bloody slap grow up shirish dont go and hide in ur wives pallu now. Where are your balls now bitch?
