It's nice to see someone in BW with dark lips wearing nude color and to see a mag cover of someone with two different shades upper and lower lips...finally! I have dark upper lip so I always tend to use brown shade (I totally know why Deepika keeps using that brown lipstick 😆 but recently she has started to use lighter colors).

I like the simplicity but im kind of on the fence about the eyes.

You dont have to use brown shades because it tends to washout the rest of the face (unless you're paring it with eyeliner and/or eye shadows. Look for a matte lipstick with good blend of coral/mauve and peachy shade. It gives a very natural and peachy glow to the face, regardless of what your skin tone is. If you wanna see if it works, try with cheaper options like the Revlon matte collection;

Mauve it over - Awesome mauvey peach!

Cocoa craving - Awesome nude brown with peach undertones

Fabulous Fig - Brick red but all you gotta do it wear a light shade undrneath (or just some lip balm) and just press it lightly over the lips (dont glide it) and VOILA, you'll have fresh rosy lips!

All these lipsticks really even out the lip pigmentation :) If you wanna spend some more, then try out the NARS lipstick collection, they're awesome. but very pricey.
