I know what you mean. I am an Aunty to my two nephews...and I'm in my early 20s :) I personally have no issues being called an Aunty. But within some Desis, the term Aunty is used to take a dig at someone's age.

With regards to Vidya, I don't understand why the constant digs at her being old, being called an Aunty/Buddhi... It's absurd! No one remains young forever...including those that take digs at a person's age! We all have to grow older, that's a fact. But we can remain youthful at heart...
