Eek...BG is bad. Just take my word for it. As for Bebo in it, theres nothing in that film that Kareena hasnt done in her previous masala movies. Watch Aitraaz or any random masala film liek MAMK or Bewafaa or something, and you'll get Bebo in BG 😆

Well , though she is getting married , she has plenty of movies in her kitty , and dont think her marriage has anything to do with it

Neither its like pushing her back and promoting others, she didnot had much to do other than looking glamours , at least others had little bit of acting needed to do

NO innocent slip, her performances werent noticeable, and how long can they keep putting her name in every award function for a no substantial role ? some one or other will definitely object

She havent done anything mind blowing in recent years , guess her chameli was a different and nice attempt , time for her to give imp to serious acting roles if she has to stay here for long ... warna with marriage coming ppl will definitely ignore her

I cannot believe people are saying Kareena was just a "fluffy glam doll" in Bodyguard and Ra.One. And in the same breath they are praising Katrina as having given one of the 5 most outstanding performances of the year.

Ya'll serious?

Kat was good in MBKD and crap in ZNMDB.
Kareena had nothing to do in the first half of Bodyguard. In fact, I could not believe she signed the film in the first place when I was watching it in the cinema. But the second half I realised why she signed it. In those last few scenes, she outshone everything done by Katrina + Deepika + Asin + Sonam done in entire 2011.

And then there's Ra.One. Yes, the thing everyone remembers is her in the red saree shaking her Chammak Challos at us. But her role wasn't that of a wallpaper. Recall the scenes following her husband's death. They were acted beautifully. Also the scene when she becomes posessed required a seasoned actress' prowess, and she certainly pulled it off.

Throughout these 2 "masala flicks" she done her job 100%. You might have to look closely, but she really brought the goods, and they wouldn't be the same without her. Katrina wouldn't have been able to do Ra.One (minus the item tit shaker).

Okay now, I'm not delusional. I know Kareena only signed these films because she's worried about scoring Box Office hits as opposed to doing groundbreaking work like say Vidya or Mahie or Kalki. And with this I am hugely disappointed in her. But I hope now that she's had some super duper successes behind her, she will return to some great roles that we saw in Chameli, Dev, Jab We Met.

Regarding the snubs. I don't know why this happened. And I'm not too upset about it because I think Vidya, Priyanka, Mahie, Kalki were the outstanding performers of 2011. But the fact they nominated Katrina for her cutesy act is just equally disappoointing.

What to do? Sit back and eat pizza :)

And since the geniuses decided to use Karisma's voice for the phone conversations that took place throughtout the film, there went half the effort an actress has to make for a performance - dialogue delivery

Jaya, since she not here. I can answer that. It was used so that lovely singh could not recognize who was calling him. As Kareena was pretending to be some girl who liked him, and he was her bodyguard and she was annoyed so wanted him to get a girl to leave her alone. 😆😆

I think they used Karishmas voice as a tribute to Kareenas sister and she liked the idea. I know they could have pretended and used her voice in some other tone as she was the one calling anyway and not some other girl. 😆😆 But it was to pay tribute to Karishma who is Salmans close buddy. Anyway, I enjoyed hearing it. Then again I enjoyed the movie period.

@Jess...ha ha ha ha...I figured it was to make the voice sound different but was wondering if there was any other reason why Kareena did not try to disguise her own voice! Thanks chica!
