Shah Rukh wants to work with Vidya

Mumbai, Jan 15 (IANS) Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan says he is looking forward to working with Vidya Balan.

"She is a wonderful actor. I haven't seen 'The Dirty Picture' but I will see it tomorrow. I have seen 'Ishqiya' on DVD and I just loved her performance. I have also seen 'Paa'," Shah Rukh told reporters.

"Apart from being a marvelous actress, I think all these girls are such huge stars. I believe girls are very hard working compared to boys. I hope I get a chance to work with her," he added.

Vidya too seemed to be thrilled at the prospect.

"Why not, I would love to work with him," she replied when asked about working with Shah Rukh.

Shah Rukh Khan is presently working on his next untitled film with Yash Raj Films, where he will share screen space with Katrina Kaif.

Vidya is busy promoting her next film "Kahaani".

I wonder why she hasn't been offered any film with him! With all those projects she been turning down lately?

There was an article a long time ago where Yash Chopra did offer Vidya a project! And I don't know what came out of it. At that time, Vidya was not as popular as she is now. Why can't Yash Chopra have one of his directors at the banner make a film with Vidya and SRK? Perhaps Aditya Chopra can direct it! I want Vidya to have a blockbuster to her credit with a Khan, as long as it is a role of substance!

It'd be great to watch Shahrukh work with a female who was more than one part personality to two parts fake "sassy attitude" to 97 parts make-up!
